Commercial Quotation Terms
DrillEquip
Overview
These commercial terms apply to all quotations, budgetary offers and RFQ responses issued by DrillEquip, covering quotation validity, payment/deposit terms, cancellation before dispatch, the condition of Recovered (As-Is) goods, and the remedy available where an item is materially not as described.
Quotation Validity
- 15 (Fifteen) days from the date of quotation.
- Budgetary quotations are indicative.
- A firm offer follows RFQ and inspection if required.
Advance / Deposit Terms
- Standard: 100% by irrevocable Letter of Credit at sight, or advance T/T.
- Project/removal sales: staged payment terms (e.g. 25% advance against order, balance before dispatch/removal) as agreed per contract.
- Title and risk pass on receipt of full payment.
Cancellation Before Dispatch
- Orders confirmed by Purchase Order and advance payment may be cancelled prior to dispatch only with the Seller's written consent.
- Advances against cancelled orders are non-refundable because reserved equipment is withdrawn from sale unless otherwise stated in the RFQ/EOI terms.
Recovered (As-Is) Conditions
- Goods graded "Recovered (As-Is)" are sold strictly as-is, where-is, ex-yard Alang.
- Based on physical inspection or the published description and photographs.
- No warranty as to working condition.
- Buyers are welcome to inspect equipment at Alang by prior appointment.
Remedy – Item Materially Not As Described
- Buyer must notify DrillEquip in writing within 7 days of receipt.
- Supporting photographs are required.
- Verified claims will be resolved by:
- Replacement (where available), or
- Mutually agreed price adjustment, or
- Refund of the affected line item.
- Exclude claims relating to:
- Condition of as-is goods,
- Consequential loss,
- Post-delivery refurbishment requirements.
